An X-rated OnlyFans star who fled her home country to avoid paying taxes has taken her career to new heights.
Mady Gio, 28, had lived in Italy, where she filmed her adult content until fleeing to Switzerland last year. The Italian-Romanian, whose real name is Madalina Ioana Filip, had previously showcased her luxurious lifestyle, including a Lamborghini, on social media – a clear indication of her substantial earnings.
It was believed that in August 2022, she earned a staggering $140,000. The influx of cash had seen her leave Italy for a less tax-heavy lifestyle in Switzerland, as Italy charges an eye-watering 27.9%.
In Switzerland, though, tax rates can be as low as 0.77%, a move that has significantly bolstered the star's financial prowess. These savings have empowered her to acquire a new lavish villa and a top-tier sports car. She's now truly savoring the high life.
Describing the origins of her career, she explained, "I had an Instagram profile with only 80 followers until my sister encouraged me to make a TikTok video while we were at the beach. It was a simple ballet dance, but within a few days, I began gaining a significant following on Instagram, quickly reaching one million followers."
Subsequently, she transitioned into creating adult content on OnlyFans, which has ultimately made her a multi-millionaire.
