Last week, the FBI arrested content creator God Hypnotic in Detroit, charging him for his alleged involvement in the January 6, 2021 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. Described by the FBI as an "internet pornography personality," God Hypnotic was apprehended following a tip suggesting he was "bragging" on a Skype group chat about his actions during the attack aimed at overturning the 2020 election results.
According to a witness, God Hypnotic initially admitted to his involvement but later claimed he was present "for reporting purposes." The FBI also obtained video footage purportedly showing the Michigan-based cam performer and clip maker entering the Capitol through a broken window.
God Hypnotic, known for his verified account on xHamster, specializes in humiliation content targeted at gay men. His videos often feature homemade clips where he addresses viewers and individuals, repeatedly using homophobic slurs throughout the duration of the content.
