Catholic Teacher Claims 'God Led Her to Porn Career

A school teacher turned adult film star is sad that people are turning away from the erotic industry.

Courtney Tillia, once a dedicated educator for autistic children at a Catholic school, grew up in a devoutly religious home where she was taught to be a "good Christian girl." However, she felt stifled by this upbringing and unfulfilled by her teaching role, which came with a modest salary.

The 37-year-old Los Angeles resident found herself yearning for something more. With the support of her husband Nick Tillia, she took a leap of faith into the world of porn and OnlyFans, where she now shares risqué content. She claimed one of the main reasons behind the career change was divine intervention. She said: "God has guided and directed me every step of this journey. From starting out in fitness, to taking sexier photos than just my fitness progress, to modeling, to doing more risqué stuff, to nude, to doing explicit, solo content, and now to porn.

"He has always been that voice and presence to remind me that this is who I am and nudge me into more and more expression. God’s unwavering support and encouragement put me in situations with porn stars so that I could see how wonderful and loving they were.

"It feels crazy to say, 'God is telling me to do porn!' But I’m so happy that God is using me in this way." She believes that people using religious beliefs to encourage women to quit is "rooted in misogyny." She continued: "There’s been a big push to impose shame onto OF creators and porn stars from a number of angles.

"As more and more women are empowered financially through this work, it’s disrupting the status quo and allowing women to raise their standards for how they live their lives and what they require from relationships. It’s disrupting patriarchal power dynamics and is threatening to men and systems who used money to leverage power over women."
