Amyyy-oxxo, a rising adult star, claims she has been banned from the U.S. for 10 years because of her job as an escort. She started working as an escort at 18 and has become well-known in the adult film industry by age 23.
The travel ban hit her hard. She said she was labeled a “w***e” when trying to enter the U.S. Because only Americans and Mexicans could visit the embassy in Mexico City, she had to fly to Managua, Nicaragua.
In Nicaragua, she faced two long interviews, each lasting an hour, which is much longer than the usual 90 seconds most travelers get. “They told me I was banned for 10 years because of my old escort profile from when I was 18. They were like, ‘Oh, you’re a w***e,’ and I was like, ‘Yes, I never lied about that,’” she said.
Amyyy found herself stuck in Nicaragua, unable to return to the UK because all flights connected through America, and she couldn’t even enter the airport. It took her three weeks to get home, and she called the experience “awful.”
Despite the difficulties, Amyyy believes America is the “land of porn” and doesn’t understand why her past would lead to such a ban.
