A popular porn star said her religious family reacted badly to news she had started working in porn, despite the fact she rarely films sex scenes.
Sky Bri only started out in the adult industry a year ago, but already attracted over 796,000 followers on Instagram and was allegedly invited to a steamy romp by YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul after making a name for herself.
The 23 year-old is from the US, and often works with best pal Rara Knupps to shoot steamy content for their OnlyFans channels.
But, speaking on Barstool’s OnlyStans podcast, Sky admitted her success in porn had come at a cost, when asked by host Glenny Balls about her family’s reaction to her work.
“My mum is super supportive of it, but the rest of my family disowned me. I’ve been completely disowned by the rest of my family,” she confessed.
“They’re super Christian, very very religious. I think maybe down the line I’m willing to maybe work it out with them, but right now they just do not understand it.”
And, despite her family’s extreme reaction to her adult career, Sky suggested filming sex scenes isn’t even integral to her life when she was asked how often she shoots.
“Twice a month,” she revealed. “Literally I shoot a scene twice a month. And people act like I’m this sex crazed [woman], out here f***ing everyone, but I’m very vanilla, I just want love.”
In fact, the adult model stressed that she has aspirations to move away from working in the adult industry in the near future.
“I want to retire from doing sex work in the next few years, move to San Diego, have two children, a dog…” she said.
“I live like I’m broke. I don’t spend any of my money, all the money that I’ve made over the last year is saved up.”
On the other hand, Rara revealed that her parents had been more supportive of her unusual career choice.
“My parents are my number one supporters,” she acknowledged. “My dad is the person who I give my money to and invest and do all that stuff.
“My dad is the person who handles my finances, and he does it so I can be set up later in life.”
